Dr. Robert DelBello selected as American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Resident Member of the Month
WVU Department of Orthopaedics' Resident Dr. Robert DelBello, MD, MPH, (PGY-1) was selected as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Resident Member of the Month for May 2024. The best advice Dr. DelBello has received was to “take an hour per day to do something outside of medicine.” This has allowed him to build healthy habits and hobbies outside of work and be a better person and clinician. Some of these hobbies include running, cooking dinner with his wife, eating out with friends, and playing intramural soccer. When Dr. DelBello studies, he uses the Academy’s resources to help him develop his skills as a resident. In particular, OITE, ROCK, and ResStudy have been helpful as they are quick, easy, and provide in-depth detail for clinical scenarios.
