WVU in the News: Scholarships available for McDowell and Mercer nurse education
MORGANTOWN — Nurses living in Mercer and McDowell counties can now apply for scholarships in the online Foundations of Faith Community Nursing course, the West Virginia University School of Nursing announced recently.

Representatives from the Office of Human Research Protections, who work closely with the Institutional Review Board, will provide an overview about research at WVU and discuss the IRB submission process during “A Guide to Human Subject Research at WVU” March 5 at 11 a.m. on Zoom.

WVU to ease mask policy in some indoor spaces, mask requirements for classrooms, labs will continue
As infection and hospitalization rates from COVID-19 decrease, West Virginia University will lift mask requirements for individuals in indoor spaces, regardless of vaccination status, effective immediately. However, the University will continue to require masks in all classrooms, labs or any WVU System facility or building being used as a classroom. Masks will continue to be required for all persons in all indoor locations of the Health Sciences Campuses.
