PCPS issues reminder on required documentation for confirming orders
This is a reminder that when submitting a Confirming Order form in Mountaineer Marketplace a quote or agreement needs to be included along with the invoice. In the event a quote or agreement was not obtained prior to the purchase, the department will need to request this documentation from the supplier prior to submission in Mountaineer Marketplace. Confirming orders should be avoided at all costs and should be replaced by contractual payments and blanket Purchase Orders going forward.
Deadline Extended: Nominations being accepted for Vice President’s Awards through May 31
The deadline for Vice President's Awards nominations has been extended to May 31. The awards are an opportunity to honor and recognize employees at the WVU Health Sciences Center.

With mental health concerns on the rise, WVU to offer new major in mental health and addiction studies
To meet West Virginia’s growing demand for mental health and addiction professionals, West Virginia University will launch a new undergraduate major in mental health and addiction studies for the 2021-2022 academic year. The program, housed in the College of Education and Human Services, is an expansion of the minor in addiction studies that began enrolling students in the fall of 2018.
