Faculty and staff are invited to join the WVU Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) book club to discuss Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance by Angela Duckworth every Thursday at 4 p.m., beginning Oct. 15 through Nov. 19 on Zoom.
Starting Oct. 12, 2026, all new WVU clinical studies will utilize new payment system
Effective October 12, 2026, all new clinical studies conducted at West Virginia University that require human subject payment using prepaid cards will utilize the Advarra Payments system.

WVU Cancer Institute launches Shared Resources Voucher Program
The West Virginia University Cancer Institute provides access to a network of shared resources to support and advance cancer research. The new Shared Resources Voucher Program provides Cancer Institute members with $3,000 in vouchers to support cancer-related research.

The West Virginia University Heart and Vascular Institute will host the WVU Rural Cardiovascular Health Symposium Oct. 1-2 in Morgantown, bringing together healthcare professionals and community leaders to address challenges in cardiovascular care in rural communities.
