Community Notice: WVU to adjust in-person class schedule, operations Friday, Feb. 4

In-person classes with a start time prior to 10 a.m. are canceled on West Virginia University’s Morgantown campus Friday, Feb. 4, due to anticipated inclement weather and worsening road conditions. WVU Health Sciences faculty, staff and students who are working in patient care areas or in clinical rotations should check with their dean, program director or clinic manager.

Campus Food Garden News: Holy Ground Seminar

The first WVU Campus Food Garden Hungry Seminar of the semester. Rev. Zac Morton will give an interactive seminar on "Holy Ground - Modern Movements in Agriculture-Based Spiritual Practice as an Expression of Social Justice" in G25 Brooks Hall and virtually at noon on Monday, February 14.

2022 Herbert W. Nickens Awards

The AAMC is soliciting nominations for its annual Herbert W. Nickens Awards. These awards honor individuals who advance the educational, societal, and health care needs of racial and ethnic minorities in the United States. We encourage you to disseminate this call for nominations and consider colleagues and students for these awards. The nomination deadline for the three awards below is April 1, 2022.
