WVU to ease mask policy in some indoor spaces, mask requirements for classrooms, labs will continue

As infection and hospitalization rates from COVID-19 decrease, West Virginia University will lift mask requirements for individuals in indoor spaces, regardless of vaccination status, effective immediately. However, the University will continue to require masks in all classrooms, labs or any WVU System facility or building being used as a classroom. Masks will continue to be required for all persons in all indoor locations of the Health Sciences Campuses.

Spring 2022 Pledge Ceremony rescheduled for March 3

The WVU School of Nursing Spring 2022 Pledge Ceremony has been rescheduled for March 3, 2022, at 5 p.m. in the Okey Patteson Auditorium. The event was canceled Friday, Feb. 4, 2022, due to inclement weather. 

Sharing the love: Nursing students create more than 500 Valentine’s cards for WVU Medicine Children’s patients, nursing home residents

West Virginia University School of Nursing students are working to make Valentine’s Day a little brighter for WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital patients and residents at nursing homes. With the combined creative efforts of Morgantown Fast-Track nursing students, Beckley Campus Student Nurses Association (SNA) and Morgantown SNA, more than 500 Valentine’s cards will be delivered Feb. 14.
