WVU to host pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Mountainlair, March vaccine and testing clinic schedule announced
To accommodate students, faculty and staff who reside, attend classes or work on the Downtown campus, WVU will host a pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic in partnership with the Monongalia County Health Department Wednesday, March 2, in the Mountainlair. WVU and the Monongalia County Health Department also will continue to host weekly COVID-19 vaccine clinics and free community COVID-19 testing at the Student Recreation Center throughout March.

School of Nursing Beckley Campus raises $1,500 for CAMC Cancer Center
Our Beckley Campus students went above and beyond to raise $1,500 for the CAMC Cancer Center. These funds will be used to provide 10 mammograms and transportation support for those in need.

Two-factor authentication to be required for remote access to all on-campus computers and servers
As part of the University’s ongoing efforts to better protect institutional data and meet various compliance requirements, Duo two-factor authentication will soon be required for off-campus access to all on-campus laptops, desktops and servers. This important security change has already been implemented at the Health Sciences Center, but HSC employees with questions can contact the HSC ITS Help Desk at 304-293-3631 Option 1.
Revised employee training module now available
West Virginia University has resumed the employee training module originally titled “Discrimination & Harassment Prevention & Meridians: Title IX.” This original training was temporarily paused to address factual errors subsequently found in the training, and to shorten the training’s length to account for employee schedules.
On the floor or in the field, Faith Community Nursing offers nurses a way to improve health for individuals from diverse faith backgrounds
Foundations of Faith Community Nursing, a course offered by the West Virginia University School of Nursing, teaches students how to improve health in faith communities, as well as to provide quality care to members of different faith backgrounds in the clinical care setting.
