Brief disruptions of internet connectivity and technology services on all WVU campuses will occur daily between 3 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. throughout the remainder of June as ITS works to install new network security software before July 1.
WVU research opportunities enhance alumna’s public health career
WVU's commitment to research – paired with strong academic programs and collaborations with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention – drew Yuni Tang to Morgantown for the Ph.D. in Public Health Sciences program. Now, the School of Public Health alumna is using her training to improve health outcomes as a postdoctoral research associate.
Micro-learning opportunity planned for June 17
The West Virginia Regional Partner of the MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center (MAAETC) will host an interprofessional education virtual micro-learning experience on Monday, June 17, from noon to 1 p.m. on Zoom.
Windows 11 will be installed on all WVU computers capable of receiving upgrade, starting July 9
Information Technology Services will install Windows 11 on all WVU-managed Windows computers that need and can accept the update, starting Tuesday, July 9. This change applies to all WVU campuses, including Health Sciences Center locations.
Student Health Services available for consultations following new STI guidelines
Following new guidelines that recommend an antibiotic for certain individuals to prevent some sexually transmitted infections (STIs), WVU Student Health Services reminds the campus community that providers are available for STI consultations, in addition to assistance with a wide range of other non-emergency health conditions and preventive care.
