Simulation Certificate Program to be offered in October
The WVU School of Medicine Office of Continuing Medical Information in collaboration with the David and Jo Ann Shaw Center for Simulation Training and Education for Patient Safety (STEPS) will offer the three-day immersive Simulation Certificate Program Oct. 2-4 for instructors with interest in quality teaching with simulation.

WVU Cancer Institute's mobile screening program- LUCAS featured on podcast
Kyle Chapman, M.D., and Lauren McCauley-Hixenbaugh, MBA, CTTS, of the West Virginia University School of Medicine, were recently featured on the “Breathe Easy” podcast to discuss LUCAS- the WVU Cancer Institute's mobile lung screening unit. LUCAS travels to 42 of West Virginia’s most rural counties to provide lung cancer screening. The episode was hosted by Francesca C. IT Help Center scheduled to be offline starting later this week
The IT Help Center will be offline for approximately four hours between 8 p.m. Friday (Aug. 2) and 8 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 3) for system maintenance. The specific time will depend on the vendor.
