WVU trauma team collecting personal hygiene products and clothing for Ukrainians
WVU’s trauma team, led by Dr. Alison Wilson, is organizing a Donation Drive for Ukraine April 25 - May 6 to provide clothing, personal hygiene products and supplies to Ukrainians in need. Items can be dropped in bins at the Health Sciences Center or donated via an Amazon Wishlist.
HSView and Y: drive outage scheduled for April 21
There will be a brief outage of the HSC VDI (HSView) environment Thursday, April 21, at 11 p.m. Outage is expected to be less than 5 minutes.
Health Care Fraud Symposium hosted at WVU College of Law
The Mountaineer Health Care Fraud Symposium will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the West Virginia University College of Law in Morgantown, West Virginia. It is intended to educate members of the legal community about health care fraud. Students pursuing degrees in health care related fields are also encourage to attend if interested.

Section of Cardiology fellows win American College of Cardiology FIT Jeopardy competition
Section of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine fellows Moinuddin Syed, M.D., Pratik Agrawal, M.D., and Sean Regner, M.D., recently won the American College of Cardiology “Fellows-in-Training Jeopardy Competition: Battle of the Chapters” at the American College of Cardiology’s Annual Scientific Session & Expo 2022 in Washington, D.C.
West Virginia Rural Health Association extends call for proposals
The West Virginia Rural Health Association annual conference will be held October 19-21, 2022, in Lewisburg, West Virginia. The call for presentation proposals has been extended to April 29, 2022.
