Five faculty named to Honors College Faculty Fellows program
Lynsey Biondi, associate professor in the Department of Surgery, will teach “Ethics & Organ Transplant” where students will study the science of transplant surgery and immunology and analyze its bioethical implications using case studies of real-life dilemmas faced by medical professionals, patients and families.
Three WVU physicians elected to UHA board
WVU Medicine physician Jeffrey Lancaster, MD, Department of Pediatrics, has been elected to a two-year term on the University Health Associates Board of Directors, joining re-elected physicians Christopher Goode, MD, Department of Emergency Medicine, and Arif Sarwari, MD, Department of Medicine.Their term runs from July 2022 through June 2024.
