Faculty, staff and students will be unable to log into many important systems and services requiring WVU Login credentials from 4 a.m. to noon Sunday, June 12 during critical updates to the single sign-on system.

Telemedicine improves access and satisfaction for Gamma Knife patients
The COVID-19 pandemic served as a catalyst for many changes in the way physicians interact with their patients, and one of the most prominent has been telemedicine. For patients receiving long-term follow-up care after Gamma Knife treatments, telemedicine has offered an opportunity to bring follow-up visits to patients in the comfort of their homes.

Steam outage planned for Health Sciences Campus
The Facilities Management team is working with WVU’s steam provider on a planned steam outage for the Evansdale campus May 21-28 and June 3-7. An additional outage will affect the Health Sciences campus on June 3.
Physicians targeted by phone, email scam
The West Virginia Hospital Association has become aware of fraudulent efforts by phone and email of individuals trying to get physicians to wire transfer money to salvage their medical licenses.
