The MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center is offering a volunteer opportunity in HIV workforce development for third- and fourth-year students at WVU Health Sciences this summer. Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery hosted annual alumni conference
The Department of Otolaryngology held its customary annual Alumni conference at the Marriott conference center, which was followed by the annual banquet celebrating the graduation of our chief residents, Drs. Maxwell Newby and Christopher Roberts. During the event, several awards were given with Dr. Brian Kellermeyer winning the Chairman’s award, Dr. Chadi Makary the teaching award, and Cathy Boyles, RN, BSN winning the service award. Congratulations to all.
TRANSFORM program accepting applications
The TRANSFORM program, supported by the National Institutes of General Medical Sciences, is designed by and for faculty from historically under-represented minority in science and medicine, including those identifying as Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, American Indian or Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islanders.
Pick ‘WVU-recommended’ computers from Dell in Mountaineer Marketplace and skip IT Purchase Request
Faculty and staff purchasing new computers and peripheral equipment through the Dell contract in Mountaineer Marketplace no longer need to submit an IT Purchase Request if the item is labeled “WVU Recommended.”
