West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute awarded $20 million funding renewal to address West Virginia’s pressing health challenges
For a third time, the West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute (WVCTSI) has received a $20 million, five-year grant awarded through the National Institutes of Health’s Institutional Development for Clinical and Translational Research program to support research aimed at improving health outcomes in West Virginia.
Update on affiliation options on your expense report
Starting today (Oct. 11), when selecting the 'Affiliation' in expense reports, you will see a change in the choices listed in the drop-down field when building your report. Employees will be required to select the applicable affiliation based on their specific employer.

Opportunities for students to volunteer with WVU Camp Kesem
WVU’s Camp Kesem, an on-campus student organization that works with the National Kesem mission of being a child’s friend through and beyond their parent or guardian’s cancer, is looking for student volunteers. Camp Kesem works year-round to create a space where kids can just be kids, have fun, and be with other children who understand their family struggles.
Keyser Campus sophomores participate in White Coat and Pledge Ceremony
The WVU School of Nursing Keyser Campus held a White Coat and Pledge Ceremony on Oct. 4 for sophomore students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. The White Coat Ceremony emphasizes compassion and the human connection from the very beginning of clinical training.
Blood Drive set for Oct. 18 at Ruby Memorial Hospital
An American Red Cross blood drive will be hosted Tuesday, Oct. 18 from 12-5 p.m. at the WVU Medicine J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital Bruce McClymonds Conference Room for employees and students.
