Keyser Campus nursing students participate, educate at local health career fair
Four WVU School of Nursing students on the Keyser Campus recently participated in the WVU Medicine Potomac Valley Hospital Health Careers Fair. The fair, held March 20 at the Davis Conference Center at WVU Potomac State College, welcomed more than 70 Mineral and Allegany County high school students who are interested in learning more about various health careers.

Elijah Stewart, a first-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, has been selected to participate in the 2026 Class of the Red Cross Collegiate Leadership Program (RCCLP). This marks the first time a WVU Tech student has been chosen for this national leadership initiative.

Drs. Brad Phillips and Marian “Marnie” Reven recently attended the 40th Annual Southern Nursing Research Society (SNRS) Conference in Austin, Texas. The theme of the conference was “Committed to Nursing Science.” This milestone event celebrated four decades of advancing nursing science, elevating the voices of nurse scholars, and improving health outcomes across the diverse communities we serve throughout the Southern region.
