Nursing students invited to apply for AHEC Rural Community Health Scholars
AHEC Scholars is available to 75 of West Virginia’s top health professions students and provides supplemental educational experiences for those interested in practicing in underserved areas of West Virginia. Students may be either full or part time, but must have 2 years left remaining in their program to be eligible.

The nomination period has been extended for the annual David H. Wilks Award for Excellence in Simulation. Named in honor of the late Dr. David Wilks, the award acknowledges the dedication of faculty who set high standards in teaching and learning at the David and Jo Ann Shaw Center for Simulation Training and Education for Patient Safety (STEPS).
