Focus Forward returns April 1 to the Morgantown Marriott. Printing software upgrades March 16-April 1 should improve reliability, reduce outages
To improve reliability and reduce service interruptions, ITS will upgrade Managed Printing servers to new, vendor-recommended software from March 16 through April 1. Pharos, WVU’s printing supplier, has recommended this update as the solution to recurring printer outages.

The Cell and Molecular Biology and Biomedical Engineering T32 training program (CBTP) is hosting a Biomedical Science Career Symposium on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the Erickson Alumni Center. All students in health sciences-related fields are welcome.
IPE Student Award deadline extended to March 13, 2026
Students are encouraged to apply for the WVU Health Sciences Office of Interprofessional Education Student Award. All students who participate in HSC IPE activities are eligible and self-nominations are accepted. The deadline to apply has been extended to March 13, 2026.
Hours adjustment to the Health Sciences parking shuttle
Based on rider feedback, the afternoon hours for the shuttle service between the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center and the WVU Innovation Corporation will shift to 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. starting on Monday, March 9.
Gain public health experience with the CDC as part of your medical school education
Medical students are invited to apply for the Epidemiology Elective Program sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The program is an elective rotation for medical and veterinary students. Students will learn applied epidemiology while investigating public health problems, such as infectious disease outbreaks, natural disasters, chronic diseases and poor access to healthcare.
Families invited to Easter egg hunt
Parents in Medicine, in collaboration with Operation Blue Sky, will host an Easter egg hunt on April 4 at 1 p.m. at the Health Sciences Center Memorial Garden. Families can participate in the event for a $10 donation, which includes access to a variety of activities. Proceeds will go to benefit local WV families and children.
