Join the Mindfulness Team to explore tips on transitioning to a different season with grace and ease. The practices shared will encourage a sense of grounding and warmth as the weather changes, as well as help you cultivate resiliency to bounce back quickly from stressors that may arise during the holiday.
New study abroad opportunity in Cyprus available for WVU Nursing students
The WVU School of Nursing will soon offer its students an opportunity to study abroad for a full semester in Cyprus, where they can experience a new culture and learn about healthcare in another country.
Neal Museum opens exhibit on the resilience of WV’s healthcare workers
While burnout and resiliency have long been a part of working in the medical field, COVID-19 brought those experiences into public view and attention. The William A. Neal Museum of the Health Sciences invited West Virginia healthcare workers to submit objects that represented their personal story of resilience and avoiding burnout. The resulting exhibit, “Getting Through: Healthcare Worker Resilience in West Virginia,” is now on display through Summer 2024.
Health Tips: Hand Washing

Rural health student groups hosting holiday drive
Project REACH (Rural Education Alliance for Community Health) and the Rural Health Interest Group of the WVU Institute for Community and Rural Health are hosting a holiday drive through Dec. 8 to benefit the Preston County food bank and Wellspring of Greenbrier.
