Blood Drive planned for June 23 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital
An American Red Cross blood drive will be held on Tuesday, June 23, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at WVU Medicine J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital Bruce McClymonds Conference Room A for WVU employees and students.
WVU Libraries shares new updates
WVU Libraries has updated the Clinical Ophthalmic eBooks Collection from the American Academy of Ophthalmology to the 2025-2026 set. The thirteen volumes cover ophthalmic topics from fundamentals and principles to neuro-opthalmology and more. AccessMedicine has added new content, including the 19th edition of Levinson’s Microbiology and Immunology as well as new Harrison’s Review Questions and new PANCE reviews. AccessPharmacy also includes extensive test prep resources. ExamMaster gives you and your students access to practice exams for general topics such as Physiology and Medical Terminology, as well as Family Medicine Certification, Family Nurse Practitioner, General Pediatrics Content Outline, Internal Medicine Certification, NAPLEX Board, NBDE Part I, NCLEX-PN & RN, PANCE, PANRE, and USMLE. The Faculty Staff Assistant Program will host an open house on June 18
The Faculty Staff Assistance Program invites all partners and friends to an open house to celebrate their new office space on Thursday, June 18 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at One Waterfront Place, Suite 2401-2500 in Morgantown. Guests can expect tours of the new FSAP office space, live music from local musician Emily Lehr, snacks and drinks, prize drawings and a scavenger hunt. SOLE Spotlight: Build an Accessible Course Structure
Faculty should begin reviewing the structure of their course documents, slides, tables and equations as WVU prepares courses and digital materials for updated ADA Title II digital accessibility expectations. Clear structure helps all students navigate content and helps assistive technologies accurately read materials. A good place to begin is the syllabus, followed by the materials students use most often in SOLE.
