Biostatistics Monthly Seminar Series continues on April 12

The Biostatistics Seminar Series is back and will feature Niel Infante, MA, MS, MSc, Lead Bioinformatician in the School of Public Health's Department of Biostatistics. Infante will present “Bioinformatics: What it is and what it can do for you" on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 11am-noon in Erma Byrd 301.

Infante's presentation will include how changes in biology research have demanded new techniques for data management and analysis. At the same time, changes in computer science have allowed biologists to answer questions they could not ask before. Infante will share insight on the past 30 years in this field, as well as his recent months with the Department of Biostatics.
