Kelsea Seago is originally from Saint Marys, West Virginia. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from West Virginia University School of Pharmacy in 2017 with an Area of Emphasis in Clinical Pharmacy. She completed her PGY-1 residency training at WVU Medicine in 2017-2018. Kelsea chose to stay at WVU Medicine for her PGY-2 residency training in oncology due to the welcoming atmosphere of the hospital in addition to the exceptionally knowledgeable, passionate preceptors. Likewise, she was drawn to the progressive nature of the pharmacy department and the numerous unique aspects of the oncology program offered at this institution. Kelsea’s ultimate goal is to acquire board certification in oncology pharmacy and become an oncology clinical specialist involved in both student and resident training.
